On Saturday 19th March 2011, we made a visit to the Royal malaysia Air Force airbase in Butterworth, Penang. Our arrival was greeted by the Commanding Officer, Colonel Rashid b. Majid (TUDM) and his fellow officers and crew.
On the arrival at the airbase, Colonel Rashid made a briefing of the Do's and Don'ts around the tarmac where four (4) aircrafts from the air force inventory were displayed. The aircrafts were helicopter Sikorsky S-61A Nuri, fighters BAe Hawk 108, Northrop RF5-E Tiger II and Boeing F/A-18D Hornet.
After the walkabout and photo takingat the aircraft display area, we were then escorted to the Officers Mess for luncheon. Exchange of appreciation speeches were made by the Commanding Officer and Goldwing Owners Association Malaysia's "GOAM" President Tuan haji Sulzaily A. Hamid including presentation of momento. This was followed by karaoke session and off course, poco-poco dance....
Thank you to all riders, family, friends and the RMAF for making this part of our memory in life!
